"Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing. " -Helen Keller

Please pray for my son's math teacher...

her 17 year old son died yesterday. Between this and hearing about John Travolta's son's death, I want to gather my kids close and never, ever let them go.

I feel the same way. on 9/11 I wanted to run to my son's school and just bring him home and hug him.
Was the death sudden or was he ill. Neither is ever easy especially with your own child but at least with one that is expected you know your days are limited and you cram as much as you can into everyday...never enough but maybe a bit easier

Oh, how tragic. I can't imagine the pain and heartache the family must be feeling.
