"Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing. " -Helen Keller

Question about Twitter?

Do you know anyone who uses it who doesn't have a cell phone? I was explaining twitter to someone the other day and that question came up.

I use Twitter with on my computer and not my cell phone. Are you on there? If so follow me @momfiles

Sheliza, I use it only with the computer and not my cell - I've chosen not to have updates go to my phone. I mainly use it as a way to have one-line updates on my blog.

Frankly, there's nothing my friends and family are doing that I need to be alerted to the instant it happens. If its that important, they should call me, not put it on Twitter ;)

I don't even use Twitter (*she says sheepishly*)

I get the impression most people use their cell phones though...

I use it on my phone, but only to send tweets, not to read other tweets.

I use my cellphone to post tweets but, not to receive tweets. It ain't that serious for me. Now that OPRAH is on twitter, hmmmm...

Well....I have a cellphone, but I update only through my OC and no phone....I have done only about three updates through the phone so far!

Direct messages can get delivered to the phone, but not tweets of other people....

My husband uses it, but not with his cell phone as we don't have texting. I know.. the horror!

I use it mostly on my laptop. Sometimes on my cell phone, though.

I own a cell phone but rarely have it on or remember to charge it. Though I use Twitter like a maniac :-)

I don't use Twitter, so I can't answer that.

I don't own a cell phone, so I use my computer for my twittering.
