"Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing. " -Helen Keller

Through the Eyes of Google.

I was at a loss for a post today until I visited the brilliant Mrs. Gamgee's blog. She had two memes I really loved and I picked this one for today. If any of y'all use this idea, can you give me some link love?

Where I live - central North Carolina

Where I work

one of my hobbies - crochet
favorite drink - diet coke

favorite food - anything with chocolate and raspberry
first car - an early '80s clue Honda Civic
celebrity crush - John Barrowman
celebrity look-alike - no clue

childhood toy - Breyer horse models

random picture - the dragons of Pern
So, I hope you enjoyed this little peek into my life.

I'd pay all my money just to sit and watch John recite the alphabet. Shirtless preferred!

Laughing at geekbymarriage's comment. Ok i admit i don't know....who the hell is John??? Sorry, but you know I have been in Cairo for a couple years. I did not google him, just tell me.

Loved your early trhanksgiving pics, too much fin and what a great family, i miss those kind of get togethers with my family. We have them here with Super S's and they are alot bigger, but my family is missing. Thanks for sharing.

Oh how I loved Breyer horses. Alas, I only had one. But I had a bunch of Barbie horses! haha

John is definitely hot. I am assuming that means you watch Torchwood (fantastic show). He sure is easy on the eyes. He more than makes up for Owen's dorky looks.

I have to say, I love when ICLW comes around because I love getting comments from you. You are such a sweet lady. I appreciate your comments to me as well as to other bloggers.

*hugs*

Woohoo! This is such a groovy meme!

Chocolate and Raspberry are an excellent combination. Godiva chocolates used to have dark chocolate covered dried raspberries.... TO DIE FOR!

Very, very clever. As much as I love words, nothing like a good visual stimulant!

I, too, was a lover of Breyer horses, and this time of year, I'd be circling all the ones I wanted in the Sears catalog!

Wonderful t-giving photos, should have some interesting ones tomorrow from Chinese t-giving celebration!

Aw, thanks for your kind comments on my blog!

I love Diet Coke too! I just can't decide if I like the flavored ones; ya know the ones with lime or cherry? lol

Happy Thanksgiving & ICLW!

I like dragons too. I've never read the Pern books, had forgotten them. Wandering in from IComWeLeave.

I love the Pern series. I even have her and her son's autograph. It's sad - I know. I am loving this meme!
