I got to talk...I mean really talk...to a close friend for over an hour last night. Although we always touch base with each other, it's been ages since we've really talked. Yesterday, she trusted me enough to tell me about the wonderful woman who has come into her life. This woman loves her, treats her wonderfully, makes her happy, and loves her children. To really hear my friend happy for the first time in forever, to have her trust me enough to tell me the cause of her happiness, and to get to talk to her for over an hour...those are 3 awesomely perfect moments.

Talking to a friend for an hour! One of my favorite things. I miss that about youth, getting lost in endless conversations in coffee shops, on the phone or sitting on the bed during slumber parties.
That IS a Perfect Monday! That's great that your friend chose you to talk to and you both had a WONDERFUL conversation.
YAY for great friends!

Those hours - and those friends - are to be celebrated! I love that you see the power in them.
What's really terrific is that it was most likely a perfect moment for your friend, too!
That is a fantastic perfect moment--both for your friend and for you.
What a lovely PMM, to share with a friend is such a special gift.
Sounds wonderful. The older I get I really cherish these kinds of moments.--from Becoming Whole (blogger's being wonky)
I know what you mean about a quality conversation. We all need more of that. That's awesome she confided in you and you got to share in her joy.
Sounds wonderful.
That's awesome! So glad you were able to do that!

It is always nice to catch up with an old friend, isn't it. Sounds like a Perfect Moment Monday to me!
So glad you got to talk to a friend for over an hour. My good IF IRL friend called me too yesterday. I had not had the chance to talk to her about the things that mattered since we had been around others the other times.
May we always have the time and moments to talk to our friends about the things that matter.
Stopping by for an ICLW visit...
