"Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing. " -Helen Keller

I'm tired...

and, I am amazed at how much more I can get done when I'm not riding herd over 3 kids (especially 2 older ones who aggravate the crap out of each other). I miss Marty and Joey but I am enjoying the productivity. Today, I stripped my bed and washed and dried the sheets. I also cleaned the boys' bathroom, scrubbed the kitchen floor and cabinets, washed the bathroom rug, and mowed the back yard. Tomorrow, I am going to at least make a dent in the chaos of the boys' room. Gabe was such a great little helper today. Hopefully that will continue tomorrow.

Holy crap, that's an awesome day! In such a dorky way, those are the days I sometimes love best;-)

I suggest starting with trash bags. What is it about 8-12 year-old boys that makes them little hoarders? (My stepson was the same way!)

I LOVE days like that!!!! When you just get in to the zone and are uber productive! Yay!!! Way to go!

Feel free to stop by my house if you run out of things to do at yours when you're done! ;) (what? WI & NC aren't near each other??? FINE!) ;)

BTW ~ Thanks for the awesome & loving comments on my blog lately.... I needed them! =) Love ya!

It only takes me a day without kids to realise how incredibly lazy life was Before Children. Sounds like a good day!

Well, you had a huge clean-out day today. And I am so glad that Gabe has helped you in it. I hope the helping streak continues on Tuesday.

I'm hoping I have a day where I feel productive. Yesterday just felt like I was banging my head against the wall.

Won't ask you to stop by my house, but will ask you to rub off on me. Need motivation..of course work and school keep getting in the way of cleaning. (That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.)

You want to come mow our lawn? It needs it bad, but I am too lazy to even get the gas for the lawn mower.

You ARE inspiring, though :).

Dang girl! You have EVERY reason to be tired! I stripped Zilla's bed and washed his sheets. Then it's my bed's turn. I'm being productive today, too! Just not as productive as you are. Then again, I never am. You're amazing!
