"Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing. " -Helen Keller

Perfect Moment Monday: my younger two

Welcome to Perfect Moment Monday sponsored by Lori over at Write Mind Open Heart. Lori says that "Perfect Moment Monday is more about noticing a perfect moment than about creating one. Perfect moments can be momentous or ordinary or somewhere in between."

On school mornings, I get up at 7:30 and it usually takes me at least 15 minutes (sometimes up to 30) to get Joey and Gabe out of bed. On Friday, I opened my door and could immediately saw that Gabe's bed was empty. Then, I heard voices down the hall. I walked into the living room to find Joey helping Gabe put his shoes on. That's right...not only were they both awake but they were both dressed for school already. For some unknown reason, Joey woke up at 6 am (poor kid) and, when he heard Gabe start calling for me at 6:30, Joey decided to get Gabe up and let me sleep. Not only did Joey let me sleep, but he also got Gabe and himself breakfast and made sure Gabe got dressed for school too. Moments like there are to be treasured.

Go check out the other perfect moments at this week's Perfect Moment Monday on Write Mind Open Heart.

That is awesome! I love that your older son too that initiative to help your younger son and allow you a bit of extra time to sleep in. So sweet, thoughtful and perfect, for sure! I hope that you have a wonderful week with lots more perfect moments.
