SHOW AND TELL: 200th Post Giveaway

My crafts were my sanity saver during our battle against secondary infertility and they are my sanity saver as a parent. I love to create beautiful things. Sometimes I am inspired to work in floss, sometimes in fabric, sometimes in yarn. I love to make things for other people and so I want to make something for one of you to celebrate my 200th post. All you need to do to enter this drawing is post here. I will randomly select one of my commentors to receive a gift. The winner will get to select the type of item and I will work out the details. I do promise you will receive something but I'm not going to promise it will happen quickly...LOL. 3 kids and my various other responsibilities make a quick turn around impossible. The cut off for posting here to enter the contest is 9/8/08. Remember, this will be a real item. If you want to receive it, make sure I can contact you (don't comment anonymously). If you don't have a blog, put a comment here and send me an email via the link on my blog. Here are a few of the things I can make...

I love that you made all of these things. I think craft projects can be so therapeutic. I crocheted a lot until recently. Now blogging gets in the way :-)

Those are all so neat! I wish I were more artsy-craftsy. I used to crochet a lot, too, until arthritis got in the way. My thumb joint just aches from too much repetitive motion. I thought I had carpal tunnel, but dr says no.

Everything is lovely. Keep up the great work. :-)

So very cool! I'm a huge crocheter so I know how wonderful it is to have something make. It gives you something to work for and look forward to. I always tell hubby it is like a treasure hunt for me. I can't wait till I'm finished to see what new and cool treasure I have made!

Wow. You are very talented! These projects are beautiful.

I love the cross stitching. I used to do a lot of that before I got married. I did try to teach myself how to knit while I was on bed rest last year. I was doing a darn good job at it (if I do say so myself), but haven't started back up since the babies came. Sigh. I should figure out a way to start up again.

Thanks for the inspiration!

That's great to have found such a productive hobby! I'm so lazy. It's all I can do to blog and mow the grass. :-) I do love that bag. Good idea for a '200th post giveaway'...

I've never had the patience to make things like that, kudos to you. They are cool!

I don't want to enter the drawing, but I did want to say congrats on the 200th post! That is so awesome!

Very cool. I love the christmas ornament cat one. I too have a lot of craft stuff but just haven't felt that motivated to get them out lately. Instead a bury myself in books. I've done counted cross stitch, scrapbooking, rubber stamping and quilting/sewing stuff.
