"Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing. " -Helen Keller

Our Visit to the Carolina Tiger Rescue

Back on Sunday, April 11th, Joey and I visited the Carolina Tiger Rescue with some of the kids from his scout pack. It was incredible seeing these beautiful animals close up (and we were close) and hearing the stories of how they came to live there or where they were rescued from.

Despite having the enclosures between us, I still got some incredible pictures.

Take a moment to go by the Carolina Tiger Rescue website and read the story behind all these incredible animals. And, if any of you are ever in the area, drop me an email and we can go see them.

Wow. Love the photos. I would love to go see them. I rarely get to see these type of animals up close and for real except on tv.

Those cats are just gorgeous. We had a similar place in Washington and I loved going there. The cats were so fascinating.
