"Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing. " -Helen Keller

My luchadore kid...and his stitched birth announcement...

Joey came out the other night wearing underwear on his head like a luchadore (Mexican wrestler) mask. He also had a pirate bandana on his head and the eye patch over his mouth. I decided it was the better part of valor not to ask why and I just took a picture.

And, I decided I really needed to stitch Joey's birth announcement before Gabe is born in Dec or it might never get done. I finished it today.

Life is certainly never dull with my boys.

Nice picture, both of them. So, what's up with the kiddies and undies on their heads? Surely you could knit or crochet them hats? LOL!!!!!!

I love the stitch picture too!

"Sigifredo"? I'd never heard of that name! Is the G pronnounced as an English GU or a French J?

Very adorable - both the announcement and the boy! And those eyes - he's going to be a charmer someday...

Sigifredo is the hispanic version of the German name Sigfreid. The beginning is pronounced the same (a g sound) and the e is pronounced like a long a. It is my father-in-law's first name

Penny...I have no clue what the deal is with the underwear on the head. I think its safer not to know and just blame it on being a boy thing (especially when there is more than one boy in the house).
