Eye Candy: DWTS Edition

Sunday is the day we thank our Lord for the things he's given us and I want to thank him for the hard bodies he created that are displayed weekly on Dancing With The Stars. As one of my friends said, I'm married but that doesn't mean I'm blind...and you'd have to be blind not to notice the bodies of some of the men on that show. I have pictures for your enjoyment...pictures from the show...and, I won't confess to sitting in front of the tv with my camera and my finger poised over the pause button in order to get these pictures. I also won't confess to searching out old episodes of DWTS in order to get the best picture of Maksim I could possibly get.

The first bit of eye candy for your enjoyment is Derek Hough.

Derek not only has a phenomenal set of abs but he's been steaming up the dance floor with his hot, hot, hot routines.

Up second, is the amazing Maksim Chmerkovsky.

I think I'd like dancing with Derek more but, omg, do I ever like looking at Maks.

On to the contestants...I never thought I'd utter these words but, wow, Jaleel White is hot.

Who would have guessed that the kid who played the nerdy looking Steve Urkel would grow up to look like this.

And, Donald Driver has one of the most amazing bodies I've seen in ages.

He is hot and that ink decorating those gorgeous muscles just makes him hotter.

Finally, there is the sizzling hot William Levy. Y'all know I have a thing for hot Latinos and William definitely fits that description.

All I can say is hot, hot, hot.

While I take a moment to thank the good Lord for the beautiful sights he created, can y'all take a moment to tell me about your favorite eye candy?

A Feast for the Eyes

My friends, something has happened that I never could have anticipated. I truly never thought I'd see this day. but *gasp*swoon*faint* I have seen heaven my friends. Thanks to the wonderful and fabulous Anissa, John Barrowman has a challenger. You remember John Barrowman, right? He's my TV husband, the object of my secret love affair. Johnny boy has these eyes...eyes that always make me melt...

Bu, Anissa's recent eye candy obsession has introduced me to a man, a man that might just leave Johnny boy in the dust. To quote the amazing Anissa, "Oh My Holy Hell, " Sexy Jesus could ask me anything. I mean, look at these eyes...

Don't ask me why he's called Sexy Jesus...that's what Anissa's calling him. I call him yummy!

My love affair with John S. Barrowman

Once upon a time there was a lady named Aunt Becky and she encouraged her Merry Band of Pranksters to join her in pranking Google. All you have to do to join in the fun is hope on over to Aunt Becky's, read about how to do this, and pick a topic or a celebrity like John S. Barrowman to have fun with but you can't have John S. Barrowman because he's mine, mine all mine and I just might have to go medieval on your ass if you try to take John Scot Barrowman away from me.

I first discovered John S. Barrowman in his role of Captain Jack Harkness, a bisexual intergalactic con man, on Dr. Who and followed him as John S. Barrowman 's Captain Jack became the hero of Torchwood. Johnny boy made the screen sizzle as Captain Jack...oh man, did he make me melt with those gorgeous eyes. So, I had to check out John S. Barrowman's Wikipeida page and John S. Barrowman's official web site and especially John S. Barrowman's take on Beyonce's Single Ladies
It was after my first exposure to John S. Barrowman that our love affair began. I wrote about the eye candy appeal of John S. Barrowman and mentioned the feelings I had for John S. Barrowman not once but twice. Sadly, the burgeoning love affair had to be kept somewhat secret because John S. Barrowman married his partner Scott Gill in December 2006.

What more could a woman want in a tv fantasy love like John S. Barrowman? He has it all...the body, the sizzle, the humor, and the loyalty to a cause.

Celebrating Nature's Wondrous Sights

Springtime seems to be when people stop and admire nature and all her beauty and majesty. Today, I wanted to share two of the wonders of nature I love looking at the most...Jared Padalecki

and, the best sight of all, these two fine specimens of manhood shirtless.These oh so yummy pieces of eye candy play the brothers Sam and Dean Winchester on the most awesome of shows, Supernatural. On the show they are funny and snarky and sexy as hell. Oh yeah, in addition to getting to watch these miracles of nature, you get to do it all to the most bad-ass classic rock soundtrack a show has ever had.

The absolutely incredible USA Network series Burn Notice just wrapped its third season. The series and story line seriously kick ass and, OMG, is the eye candy delicious. If you aren't watching, why the hell not? Seriously y'all, if you aren't watching, this is what you are missing...

Those two hotties in the post below...they are someone all of you should recognize. Before I tell you who they are, I'll tell you who I would pick. I love A's bad boy vibe but the eyes on B make me melt. So, anyone have a clue who they are?

Yummy Part 2

My head still doesn't feel 100 % from the weekend and the weather was gray and dreary all day. I felt the need to look at some yumminess and I thought I'd share it with you. May I present my TV love, John Barrowman.



And, its not quite enough that he is absolutely delicious to look at. The character he plays, Capt. Jack Harkness on Torchwood, is intriguing and mysterious and makes every scene sizzle whether he is performing with a man or a woman. I know I'm married and desperately in love with my husband and, even if I wasn't, I know I can't have him. But, man oh man what a fabulous fantasy.

I have no brain power. I am still too worried about my friend and her mom. So, instead I'm resorting to posting this gorgeous piece of eye candy. I know Adam Lambert is gay. I know I'm way too old for him even if he weren't gay but I can't help myself. He is positively yummy.

SHOW AND TELL: Scout Night at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park

Last night, Joey and I went to Scout Night at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park.

The game was fun.

The snacks were delish but pricey.

The Bulls kicked the Mudhens' asses.

The fireworks were fabulous.

The boys had the chance to buy tickets to sleep in the outfield. The boys played and got autographs from Wool E. Bull, the Durham Bulls Mascot.





Yes, we were part of the contingent who slept over. And, the ground was very, very hard. I ended up pinned in one position by Joey last night and that combined with the hard ground of the infield made me seriously hurt when I woke up this morning. I was pinned in one position because Joey and I were sleeping under the stars and he managed to kick off his sleeping bag. I am definitely not 20 yrs old anymore...ugh. But, you know what, I would do it again in a heartbeat. In fact, I will probably do it again next year.
