I wonder if you have every been given a gift that taught you a different way to love? My gift was born on at my home on Christmas Eve 2000, an adorable blue and white pit bull puppy named Asia! She was a tiny little girl that just wanted to be loved. Over the years she showed me a lot about what love should be. She never cared if I was busy and it cut in to our time together-whether I was happy, sad, silly, or mad she was constant and never changed. All she wanted to do was love me for no particular reason, and to get a little love back. She showed me that love never judges. She played a part in my engagement and became a mama all in the same weekend. She made us a family. We had to say good-bye to our sweet girl yesterday. I held her face in my hands and looked into her eyes and told her how much we loved her as she took her last breath. A good friend told me that even though we lost our girl yesterday, God got a new puppy...and I know it is true. There will be no more pain or sickness and she will breath easily again. Thank you Big Mama for all of your love - if only we all could give love so freely.I love you my sister and we will all miss your sweet girl.

Oh I'm so sorry. Big Mama looks like she was such a sweetie.
Awww... what a pretty dog. I'm sure she will be missed.
Love to her during this difficult time. :(
So, I come to start getting caught up on your week, and I find this post... *sniff*
She looks like a sweet dog, and I know how much it hurts to let a pet go. I hope that your sister and her family are doing ok.
Beautiful puppy... Pets are so much better than people. xo.
