A Sacrifice To Pele
I've always wondered what would happen the day I snapped and finally lost my ever livin' mind from all the time I spend with kids. Today, I found out. Gabe had spent a good portion of the past 3 day pretending his Ming-Ming Duckling (from the WonderPests), Ming-Ming's kitty, and Baby Jaguar (from Diego) were the Wubb Girlz. The Wubb Girlz have played in his volcano and, of course, have repeatedly sung that insipid Wubb Song (at a rate of approximately 60, 000, 000 times a day). Well, Gabe finally left me alone with his volcano and his play-do. That was a dangerous move on his part because I decided to build a platform to lower a sacrifice into the volcano for the goddess Pele. When I was done with construction, I tried to find the greatest offender of late, Ming-Ming, but Gabe must have sensed something was up because Ming-Ming was gone. Instead, I chose to sacrifice the baby tapir from Go, Diego Go.
It was very therapeutic but Gabe ruined my fun. He told me no and promptly took apart the sacrificial rig.

ha ha, warped minds unite...should be an actual group you think?
Those moments of reclaiming your sanity, however you do it, are strange and wonderful!
When my sister and her family lived with us, I found myself plotting to commit murder... my nephew's talking Blue's clues stuffy the would be victim.
Justifiable homicide...
Ok, that may have been the funniest damned thing I've ever seen. I knew I liked you before, but now I KNOW I like you.
Sick, just sick (shakes head in admiration).
Ha! Too funny, Kristin. Too, too funny.
I think you need a mental health day at the spa. :)
HA! I've done stuff like that before. Zilla always rescues his toys before I could demolish them, too. *sigh* what fun is it if we can't destroy things too?!
*HUGS*
Looks like a good idea to me. I think the only thing my warped mind could have come up with would have been completely inappropraite for small children and blog posting.
Very creative, Kristin! It's funny to see Pele mentioned on your blog. If she's here in North Carolina, she's far, far, from home!
P.S. This is the first time that I'm able to get into your blog. Somehow, the security set up back home won't allow it.
