How does my garden grow?

I am so excited about my upcoming vegetable garden. I planted my seeds in the greenhouse trays on the 13th or 14th. On the 18th, 3 days ago, I saw this...
Those little bitty green shoots are my Grand Rapids Lettuce and my Buttercrunch Lettuce. Today, I went out to check on the plants and I saw this...
The big shoots are teh lettuces and the bottom 2 squares (the big 9 block ones) are my peas. Right next to the peas, in the lower right hand corner of the picture, is the first green bean sprout.

I think I'm going to be swamped with veggies.

I love growing all my plants from seeds. It always makes me so very happy with I see the first signs of green sprout up!

I haven't tried veggies yet, but my pansy's, morning glories, and zinnia's are starting to get nice and big!

I just started my first ever garden this year. I now have 16 pots crowding my porch and I love it! I never thought I had a green thumb. My zinnia's are about to bloom and I'm excited!

I can haz lettuce?

Keep posting pictures as they progress! I can't grow anything but mold spores.

I'll have to work on that green thumb thing. :)

Thats awesome! My husband grows us a garden every year. Its a lot nicer to have home grown fruits and veggie than store bought ones. Are you going to have strawberries as well? Than you can make your own jam:-)

Thanks for visiting my blog! Love the little plants. I wish I could grow stuff - I just lost yet another houseplant. It always makes me sad. I guess I will just live vicariously through your pictures! (ICLW)

(PS - Love the Harry Potter countdown!!! I CANNOT WAIT.)

We've had our first attempts at growing things from seed this year. Unfortunatly not much light gets to our little yard .. so far only the beans have thrived.

Yaaay ! for being swamped with Veggie goodness.

It's been a few years since I had a veggie garden. I'm looking forward to getting back into it this year.

And I have a question about the book challenge. Do books on CD count? I love to read, but I usually don't have the free time so I'm always listening to at least one. If they do, I'm in!

Fun, fun, fun. We're almost ready to put seeds in to start. Of course it will be about 3 weeks before our garden is opened up for planting.

I hope you're up to your neck in fresh goodies before all is said and done.

I wanted to grow my own transplants, but I just don't ever seem to get it together. Luckily, it's easy enough to buy them, and the rest I do from seed.
