I guess I've arrived as a blogger.

And, I guess I should be glad it took over 4 yrs. I received my first nasty for the sake of being nasty comment on my show and tell post. To paraphrase the comment, the ever so brave anonymous commenter said the turkey tetrazzini "looked disgusting, bland, and what was with all the soup mixes. Think about the additives. Couldn't I cook anything from scratch."

Guess its a good thing a don't give a flying fuck what Mr/Ms anonymous thinks.

To celebrate my arrival as a blogger, I think I'll have a VIRTUAL PARTY. Post here, tell me what you are bringing to my virtual party and, at some point, I'll pick a commenter to win a door prize. That's right...its GIVEAWAY time.

I'll get the party started with a round of mojitos for everyone!

PS...ROFLMAO at myself...I typed out that whole turkey tetrazzini recipe and forgot to put down the turkey on the ingredients list. I fixed it.

Mmmm, Mojitos? I love Mojitos!! Count me in! I'll bring some game biltong! Its totally delish and a local delicacy!

As for Ms/Mr Nasty, you're lucky it took 4 years! I've been getting little trolls since the inception of my blog.
I like to think its because I'm so damn popular that somebody's got to be jealous and bring me back down to earth! Hahahaha! ;-)

Kristin,
I am mildly jealous you got a nasty comment - I am not that far into my "readership" I guess...LOL

As for Capt. Dumbass anonymous poster....I am sending one seriously huge "bird" to them on your behalf.

I think the Turkey Tettrazini looked great (since I don't really cook at all - anything in a casserole dish looks fantastic to me!) Keep on keeping on!!
Hugs

Um Hon - you ARRIVED long ago and that just takes the cake!

Speaking of cake - I'll bring a one of the German Chocolate variety! (my faaavvvooorite)

And sorry I didn't get to all the Show and Tells to comment - but that person would be ahast at how I make my Chili!

MMMMMM!!!! I could use some Mojitos! Sorry about the nasty commenter.... I guess that's one of the benefits of being a Private Blog! Obviously someone who was sick the day they did the "If you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all" lesson in Kindergarten.

I think the Tetrazini looked great, and obviously this person has never lived in Minnesota because the "rule" for casseroles up here is that if it doesn't have Cream of Something (usually Mushroom) soup in it you did something wrong! LOL!

Hmm....what to bring? I'll bring some barbequed meatballs complete with the little colored toothpicks! =)

Most of my trolls have been breastfeeding or natural birth people- which is hilarious, because I am always so openly supportive of such things. They just didn't work with my body- so to them, my failure was a choice, not just something that happened. LOL.

I don't think it looked disgusting, though because of my sodium restriction, I couldn't make anything with so many canned soups and whatnot.

Yes, you have arrived!

YAY for you having arrived! Welcome, hehehe. I'll have one of those mojitos and I'm going to standing over Cara's cake. Oh how I love German chocolate cake! I'll bring Spicy Bean Soup. I can put it in a crock pot and we can just dip into it when we want to. Mybe it'll sober us up from your mojitos? ;o)
Enjoy your day!

Well dear, you know I have to bring some pepperoni bread. I wonder how many preservatives are in that?!?!

WOW... Unbelievable that someone would be so rude to actually post a comment like that!

I'll join your virtual party!! How about some wine?

You've arrived!!! Good grief, can people not think of anything NICE to say? Or just shut up? I'm bringing green bean casserole with those lovely fried onions..... I"ll bet there are lots of preservatives in them!

Huge congratulations on the troll. Imagine that posting a recipe could be the MOST incendiary thing you've ever posted about.

Okay, just got here from the Virtual Lushary, so haven't actually read your archives. Just going to guess, though... if you fit in with this group, you've probably said something worst than "use soup mix." Just a guess.

Hey, I'll bring something... anything... that allows me to try out a new product I saw at the grocery store... Bacon Salt. You know, for those times you need to think you're eating bacon and Bacos just won't do. How does a Bacon Salt Smoothie sound?

Mmm.... pass me a mojito, some spicy bean soup and some of Cara's cake.

I'll be bringing some Oreo Chocolate Chip Cheesecake, since it's so healthy!

Welcome to the rude comment club! I've had a few and delete them.

I'll bring some of that Baked Eggplant Parmesan to the party since everyone that read my blog wants the recipe. I'm going to post it too.

I'll bring Cute Boy's raspberry biscuits! They are yummy good.

Wow, lucky you! I haven't had the dubious pleasure of a rude commenter yet, though I did have a religious crazy for a while, posting massively long comments. I read one and couldn't figure out which religion s/he was in favor of, so that went in the delete bin. My only negative comment was from my mum, who was deeply offended at my mentioning that our house growing up was not perfectly neat. ;)
