I love funky socks

Its a weakness. I know it. But, I really do love funky socks. I've even been known to wear them when I'm dressed up and look really nice. Even at a dressy occasion, you never know when I have a little touch of funky style hiding under my pants or boots. These wonderfully wacky socks currently grace my sock drawer...

Thanks to the fabulous author of Baby Smiling In The Back Seat, I have discovered some more socks I must have. I really need a pair of the socks handcrafted by The Sock Lady of Solmate Socks My favorite pair over there so far are the sangria socks... These socks are purposely made as mismatches and I love them. Pop on over there and take a look for yourself.

OMG, you and are so so alike. I knew I liked you.

I also love silly and cool socks. I've been known to wear a nice skirt and shirt, with pink winnie the pooh socks.

And I really like those mismatches socks. Also very cool. :)

Also, RYC: I like what you said. About making a deal with myself that I stop the diet if I get pregnant, and that it's OK if that happens. I just wish I wasn't such a do or die sort of person... I want to do something ALL the way, not maybe-sort-of-depending-on-next-month. Arg. Something to work on. :)

I am right there with you. I wear fun socks every single day, even when I am all dressed up. Nothing is more fun than knowing you have dogs on your socks while sitting at a stressful meeting for work.

I love wacky socks too (although I can't do toe socks). Weird thing is, my husband "borrows" my socks all the time. I'm sure his coworkers think he's nuts when they spot a sliver of pink argyle under his trousers...

I've never really been a great lover of funky socks (sadly, I tend to wear either athletic socks, thin plain grey socks, thin black socks, or, most often, no socks at all), but those sangria socks are awesome!

LOL my socks today are purple and black stripes with candy corn on them! I also love my Hanukkah socks and my socks with various coffee drinks depicted on them!

OMG! Those are sooo cute!! I've always wanted to go a little crazy in my socks, and just never have. Maybe I'll change that now!

My friend loves crazy socks. I buy them for her birthday and stuff. She always has on crazy socks at work under her dress clothes.

Me, I don't like stuff on my feet!

Oh, my! Do I have some socks to send to you! It may take a while as they're at my ex-boyfriend's apt. But they are so yours. They've never been worn. Gift from the evil sister. But giving them to someone who'll appreciate them will change their karma.

She once gave me these weird slippers with these crunchy teabag-like inserts in them that you were supposed to microwave. I sold them on ebay. She somehow got the idea that I always have cold feet. Actually my feet are usually sweaty and stinky. She has some listening issues. ;-)

I love my funky lucky IVF socks and wore them proudly, but otherwise all my socks are black and brown. In other words, office appropriate.
