"Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing. " -Helen Keller

Toilet Wars...a guest post from my son

Hello all, Martin here. First of all, I WAS NOT, repeat, WAS NOT the one who had the war with his toilet. Ok, we got that cleared up. Anyway, this happened while i was down at a church camp at the beach. The cabin the guys were staying had a toilet off each bedroom, and the one off one of the others campers rooms got clogged, but in an odd way. The... well... stuff went down, but the water wouldn't flush, so the guy's, whom I shall refer to as Bob form here on out, room this was off of took a plunger to it and went crazy. After a short while, Bob practically went insane, looking like he had gone berserk, saying "WHY, WONT, YOU, FLUSH?!", and falling to his knees and screaming "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" after every failed flush attempt. Of course the other three guy campers and our counselor, me included, were laughing our butts off while this happened. One of the things our counselor had brought to the camp was a little speaker/radio thing you could plug your Ipod or MP3 into, and listen to your music to through it. Our counselor plugged his MP3 in and played a hilariously appropriate song for Bob's situation. He started playing "Eye of the Tiger". We all, sans Bob, burst out laughing at this of course. I swear, I was laughing so hard I was crying. Then, our counselor put on a song he said described Bob's relationship with the toilet, Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance". After a while, Bob gave up, and got our counselor to come help who preceded to make the toilet flush almost immediately. I'll bet you all can guess the look Bob had on his face then. So anyway, right after our counselor got the toilet to flush, I came up with an accurate count for the Toilet Wars...Toilet: 10 Bob: 1. Actually, technically, Bob didn't even have a full point seeing as our counselor got it to flush. And yes, this all really happened.
